Synopsis

A talented musician struggles to move on from his high school friends as the foursome find their different paths in life and deal with tragic loss.

"Although the premise of twenty-something friends reaching a crossroads in their lives is certainly well-covered, My Favorite Things brings its own raw and tragic twist to this coming-of-age drama. The relationships and friendship bonds are slightly reminiscent of those in Good Will Hunting, since the main characters in each script have the brains and potential to get out of the ghetto and have a chance of real success, but are reluctant to leave their lives behind and battle with guilt that often comes with success. The strength of the script lies in the characters and the dynamics of their relationships."
